The peak industry body, YTAA recognises the importance of the yoga sector maintaining a high professional standard. Accordingly, it is now a requirement that YTAA members earn at least 36 CPD points in each 3 years of membership. A commitment to ongoing education also enables members to advance their membership to Level 2 or 3. Please refer to the YTAA website for more information The Yoga Institute will ensure that courses are recognised by the YTAA for CPD point approval.
Once students graduate from our Diploma of Yoga Teaching course we like to stay connected and support their teaching.
Graduates are invited to be part of the Yoga Institute's Teacher's Network database. Here we promote teachers who practice yoga in the tradition of Krishnamacharya.
Trainee teachers are required to attend yoga classes in this tradition during their yoga studies. Students refer to this database to find a conveniently located yoga school or class.
